About Me

Smiling woman with short purple hair.

My Journey!

I first discovered the transformative nature of therapy when I turned 40. Having battled anxiety in various forms over my lifetime, I took the plunge and never looked back.

My therapist was warm and patient, she honoured all my experiences and never judged my thoughts or feelings. These rich qualities inform my own therapeutic practise and values.

My Pledge To You

I want to share each step of your journey, supporting you as you recover from adversity, heal from pain, and move forward with aspirations and hope for the future.

Counselling and Psychotherapy

As a counsellor and psychotherapist, we will explore together the best therapeutic approach for you. I aim to put you in the driving seat by deciding which strategies might resonate with you and support you recovering, growing and thriving.

My Therapy Space

As a neurodiverse trained practitioner, I aim to provide a space where you can personalise the lighting. I have a huge selection of sensory toys and fidget toys as well as weighted blankets and soft throws. You can choose your preferred seat (including sitting or laying on the floor).

I am proud to be a queer ally and provide a warm welcoming space for all my LGBTQ+ clients.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Client notes are anonymised and confidential. However, if you may be at risk of hurting yourself or others, I may have to liaise with your GP or another safeguarding practitioner for advice.

Safety

You may be asked to undertake a risk assessment and agree to a safety plan.

Supervision

As a member of the BACP, I attend regular private Supervision to ensure I work effectively, ethically and safely.

Cancellations

Client's are requested to give 24 hours cancellation notice to avoid being charged for the session.
